Applied research, promoted by the IMSG, is a central component of its pedagogical project. It is structured around four inseparable axes:
This approach is embodied by the Mutations & Agilities Laboratory (M&A Lab), whose aim is "to prepare managers to become agents of strategic change in the face of economic, societal and behavioral mutations, thus making them Métagiles".
The M&A Lab is made up of several research chairs, each specialized in a specific theme:
The IMSG offers a doctoral-level program (DBA) designed for those wishing to model and pass on significant professional experience. Doctoral students are regularly asked to share the results of their work with students in the BBA, MBA and Brevets fédéraux programs. This curriculum also enables IMSG teachers to update their knowledge, thus constituting a veritable "Teachers' School".
By organizing symposia, research days and conference cycles, research plays a crucial role in enhancing the IMSG's visibility and credibility. These initiatives are complemented by numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, symposium proceedings and various collaborative works resulting from scientific events.
The IMSG's Scientific and Research Council brings together professors and researchers from various countries and disciplines, as well as all the professors holding the various chairs. This diversity makes it possible to approach issues from a variety of perspectives, avoiding compartmentalization and fostering a critical vision that is essential to the IMSG's pedagogical project.
